About Me

I did not believe I was a creative strategist because I did not have a PhD or the accolades to prove my abilities. The wisdom that comes with age opens the door to doubt, but it also opens the door wider to possibility.  I was born looking at the invisible, an abstract image that does not exist and is often missing from reality. I always needed to figure out what to do with this vision. I remember trying to find myself (well, most days) and meeting people from all walks of life. One day, during an informational interview, a designer suggested that if I was a real visionary, I should start a band. I could not see myself on the front line of a band, so I joined creative businesses on the front line. I decided not to study philosophy because my creativity led me more toward concrete thinking.

So how does a deep thinker, a believer in equality and humanity, create happiness? Finding our role and agency can be separate from finding our calling or purpose in life. I needed to dig deeper than the surface of my career. My career was the symptom of a more profound wish for my life. This deeper desire has been marinating for decades through the study of the wisdom of depth and Jungian psychology. I believe in the power of synchronicity and symbols to illuminate my path. I continually discover the beauty and artistry inherent in active imagination and the unconscious. I combine this with my decades of business strategy experience to identify actionable insights. It is a powerful and transformative way of looking at two sides of AI – active imagination and actionable insights.

As a Jungian-certified coach, my craft combines an endless passion for discovery. I guide others on this journey of self-discovery and hold space for your whole self to emerge (and that includes the darker and less receptive side of ourselves, Jung’s term for the shadow). I am certified Jungian coach with accreditation from IACTM. And I am an advanced certified dream analyst from the Assisi Institute: International Center for the Study of Archetypal Patterns. The methodology is grounded in objective Jungian dream translation. I have also studied other methodologies such as embodied dream work and focusing. I am also an Archetypal Pattern Analyst™️ and dedicated to how patterns work in the psyche and in systems. Archetypal wisdom is universal and can be applied in various fields such as psychotherapy, cinema, the arts, bodywork, business consulting, diplomacy, and healthcare systems, among others.

My Scarab Logo

A scarab can be a symbol of synchronicity and transformation. I also see a scarab as a symbol of meaning in an interconnected reality.

Red Book footnote: In synchronicity as a principle of acausal connection (1952), Jung wrote The scarab is a classical rebirth symbols. According to the description in the anciaent Egyptian book, Am-Tuat, the dead sun God transforms himself at the tenth station into Khepri, the scarab, as such mounts the barge at the twelfth station, which raises the rejeuventaed sun into the morning sky.

“The object found as if by chance is situated at the point of connection between external nature, perception, and the unconscious.” – Andre Breton
